Hi, I'm Charlene, a Skilled Administrative Support Assistant
I started accepting part-time online jobs such as transcription, data entry, and tutorial jobs back in 2011. I had those jobs while having a full-time position in a company. I worked as a customer support associate, I became a teacher, and eventually ended up as a human resources professional focusing on recruitment and training. When the pandemic hit, I had to leave my job for my safety and the safety of my family.
It was during this time that I decided to become a freelancer. I offered my services to different clients and I landed several part-time virtual assistant/administrative support positions. I applied the administrative skills that I acquired as a human resources professional to help support my clients and their businesses. I gradually learned new skills such as social media management, content creation, customer support, and lead generation. I learned how to use WordPress and Elementor which I still use daily as part of my tasks for a current client. My Photoshop editing skills was enhanced massively since I use it almost every day whenever I create Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Linkedin posts for my clients.
I am continuously improving and adding more skills through experience and through self-study. I believe that we never stop learning because there is always something to improve and something new to learn.
What Can I Do For You?
Administrative Support
I help executives efficiently run their business by providing excellent clerical and administrative support such as, but not limited to, organizing appointments, managing emails, maintaining a contact list, assisting in the preparation of reports, etc.
Customer Support
I provide information to customers about different products and services. I also manage different customer issues, transactions, and requests.
Social Media Management
I manage the company's online presence by producing good content and ensuring social media visibility with the use of appropriate strategies.
Adding and Managing Products
I add and manage products to a website using WooCommerce. I make sure that the product description is complete and accurate, I also make sure that the photo used for the products are appropriate. Lastly, I make sure that the essential keywords are present in the product description.
Data & Research
I gather the the information needed to help maintain and improve the quality of data that the company has. Besides information gathering, I am also responsible for data management to ensure that all the information is updated and correct.
