Moonfield Calauan Laguna

My husband worked overseas before we got married and left for work again immediately after we got married. We agreed that when he comes back, he will pass up on the the next contract so we can stay together longer.

There are so many things that we want to do together and so many places that we want to visit together but because of the pandemic, our choices were limited. We decided on starting our travel journey in places nearby.

One day, we went on a road trip and tried to look for a

nice place to eat and relax. We found Moonfield on Facebook. We searched for it on Google but when we followed the pinned location, it was a different one. We went inside a gated properly that

looked a little creepy. It was a private road lined with huge trees. Here's the actual photo (pardon the reflection of the paper on the dashboard). We decided to stop and go back to the main road. At that moment, a lady was on her way out of the gated property. We asked her if we are at the right place and she said that we're not and she doesn't know where Moonfield is.

We went back to the main road and

stopped at a Sari-Sari store to ask for directions.

Luckily, the girls outside the store knows where Moonfield is and gave us a clear direction. Apparently, it was the street before that gated place that went into. We did not notice the signboard.

We finally made it Moonfield and the place looks amazing. There were so many plants and trees. There was also a number of instagrammable spots. We tried the food in their restaurant and although the pizza tastes good, in my opinion the other food in the menu are just so-so. The price is OK, I just think they should add a more food in their menu. Overall, the place relaxing and peaceful. There were around 4 or 5 groups of people in the place when we arrived so it was not crowded.

While we were walking around, we stumbled upon some rooms that look overnight accommodations. I'm not sure if they offer room accommodations for overnight stays though. There was also an area with the Stations of the Cross.

Overall, I liked the place but it's not going to be in the list of my favorite places. By the way, there's an entrance fee of Php 30.00 per pax.
